[RIDE TRAINING DAY #3] Internal Training - Applying AI in Daily Work

On September 6th, 2025, the Research Institute for Digital Economy (RIDE) continued its internal training session for all staff members on the topic of "Applying AI in Daily Work" at the R&D office of the RIDE headquarters, led by Mr. Tran Quy Hoi, Director of Digital Fidelity Vietnam. The training provided a comprehensive overview of how AI is changing the way we work in the digital age.

[RIDE TRAINING DAY #3] Internal Training - Applying AI in Daily Work
Trần Trâm

At the beginning of the training session, Mr. Hợi shared about the powerful rise of technology, artificial intelligence (AI), which has transcended the pages of science fiction to become a valuable assistant, present in our lives and work. Instead of being a distant concept, AI now plays the role of a silent yet effective partner, helping us tackle daily challenges. AI brings outstanding benefits, from automating repetitive tasks, enhancing accuracy when processing vast amounts of data, to sparking creative inspiration. However, he also emphasized a core point: no matter how powerful it is, AI is still just a tool. The intelligence and creativity of humans are the key factors in effectively and responsibly harnessing the potential of this technology.

The power of AI

Next, Mr. Hợi delves into popular AI applications that are shaping the modern workplace. He points out that, from drafting emails and reports to summarizing documents, tools like ChatGPT allow users to create professional, concise, and accurate content. In the field of translation, Google Translate and Gemini break down language barriers with precise multilingual translations.

He also emphasized the role of AI in data analysis, with integrated features in Excel that help detect trends and make predictions. For content creation, AI can quickly generate articles, marketing ideas, or social media content. Particularly in programming, tools like GitHub Copilot assist with code suggestions, significantly speeding up developers. These examples show that AI is not just a tool, but a companion that helps us work smarter.

AI in various fields

1

 Programming

AI tools like Github Copilot and ChatGPT help reduce programming time by 50%, assisting new programmers with syntax and logic, along with the ability to use many popular languages. However, these tools can also generate faulty code, struggle with complex contexts, and pose security risks. Programmers should combine the use of AI to enhance productivity, but they must always check and optimize manually to ensure quality.

3

 Business Analysis (BA)

In the role of business analysis, AI can help create user stories for project planning and reduce brainstorming time. In the demo, Mr. Hợi used ChatGPT to create a user story to generate a script, which was then brought to Miro to create a mind map. This helps reduce the time spent on manual drawing as before. Mr. Hợi emphasized the need to carefully check the output to ensure it meets the project's requirements and to be cautious about the application of machinery.

2

 Administrative

AI can automatically generate templates for administrative documents such as contracts, meeting minutes, and invitations, helping administrative staff save time. Thanks to AI tools, they can quickly have a draft, needing only to edit a few pieces of information to complete it, thereby reducing the burden of repetitive tasks.

5

 Accounting

AI is being integrated into accounting software like MISA, helping to automate many tasks. Functions such as creating spreadsheets, calculating salaries, and tracking expenses have now become faster and more accurate. For example, AI can analyze check-in/check-out data to generate reports on the number of employees arriving late, providing clear and effective results.

6

 Marketing

In Marketing, AI assists in content creation from social media posts to advertising scripts. After the training session, Mr. Trần Quý Hợi encouraged everyone to immediately apply the knowledge and skills about AI to their daily work to enhance productivity and quality. At the same time, he also created opportunities for everyone to explore more deeply into specific areas of interest.

4

Tester

AI assists in automating the creation of test cases, helping developers and testers save significant time and effort. For example, by using ChatGPT, users can quickly generate multiple test cases for an application, thereby enhancing efficiency and quality in the software testing process.

The training session received extremely positive feedback from the employees. Many expressed excitement and deep impressions when being introduced to modern AI tools, not only in theory but also through vivid, real-life examples. They clearly recognized the potential of AI in improving performance, automating tasks, and opening up new creative opportunities. This reception not only demonstrates the effectiveness of the training session but also proves that this knowledge and these AI tools have truly sparked curiosity and a desire to learn in each participant.
