The Institute for Research on Organizations and Digital Economy (RIDE), established in 2004, focuses on supporting organizations to thrive in the digital age.
RIDE leverages the extensive experience of its leadership team, who have many years of experience in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the United States and Europe. The main goal of the Institute is to strategically integrate essential digital elements into the formula for success for organizations and the rapidly growing economy of Vietnam.
To achieve this goal, RIDE offers a range of diverse services, including training, consulting, and technical support for various clients, from businesses to government agencies, as well as strategic consulting and feature development for digital service providers.

RIDE recognizes that the challenges of digital transformation are not limited to technology itself. Many organizations struggle due to issues such as internal resistance, psychological barriers, information overload, and poor governance. These socio-economic challenges are often overlooked, leading to technology implementations that do not achieve the expected returns. Dr. Tran Nguyen Cac (Karl Tran)
Director
Karl Tran is a technology expert with an outstanding track record in product development, particularly in operational management software and IoT devices; he led the development of a business segment that generated over 50 million Euros in revenue from scratch within a few years. He has a solid technical background with a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Korea University, and a Ph.D. in network architecture from Eindhoven University of Technology.
Ms. Đinh Thi Ly
Project Manager
Lý Đình graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology. She has extensive knowledge of business and expertise in management, finance, sales, and marketing. With over ten years of experience in customer management, Ms. Lý excels in project management, resource optimization, and technology solution implementation. She assists businesses in adopting digital systems, focusing on efficiency, optimized processes, and growth, helping organizations achieve their strategic goals.
Dr. Bui Ngoc Dung

Dr. Bùi Ngọc Dũng is an expert in the field of Information Technology, with over 20 years of teaching and research experience at various universities both domestically and internationally. He holds a Ph.D. in IT from the University of Science and Technology Malaysia. Dr. Dũng's research contributes to many areas, including artificial intelligence, image processing, and applications in Intelligent Transportation Systems. He has published over 30 scientific papers in international journals and conferences.
Dr. Nguyen Manh Dung

Dr. Nguyễn Mạnh Dũng has extensive experience in the field of AI and Big Data. He worked at IVS Technology in South Korea as a Research Team Leader (2011-2020) and is currently a lecturer at the Institute of Post and Telecommunications Science. Dr. Dũng graduated from Hanoi University of Science and Technology and received his Ph.D. in Information Technology from Kongju National University, South Korea.
Prof. Dr. Tran Van Phu

Prof. Dr. Trần Văn Phú is a leading scientist in the field of heat and mass transfer, known for the Gordan's Algebra theory. He graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, and received his Ph.D. and Doctor of Science degrees from Kyiv Polytechnic University and Riga Technical University, respectively. Prof. Phú has many years of experience working at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Hoang Thanh Tung
Member of the Board of Directors
Dr. Hoàng Thanh Tùng has many years of experience in developing complex SoC systems for AI/ML applications. He has participated in several important research and development projects, including OpenTitan and projects for the European Space Agency (ESA). Dr. Tùng has in-depth skills in RTL design, UVM verification, and performance modeling. He received his Ph.D. from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden.
